Karen M. Hubbell

Karen Hubbell was born in San Jose, California and is a native of Willow Glen. She attended St. Christopher's and Presentation High School. She commenced working in the area of Family Law in 1985. She joined the family law team of Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley in September 1998. She left Ropers, Majeski in May 2008 to open her own practice with Brooke A. Blecher. Karen continues to practice exclusively family law, representing clients on issues involving dissolution of marriage, child custody, paternity, child and spousal support, property division and domestic violence.

Karen received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Jose State University. Karen also obtained a Paralegal Certificate through San Jose State University. She continued with her interest in the legal field and attended Lincoln University. She received her law degree from Lincoln University in 1993, where she received a jurisprudence award in real property. She also published for the Lincoln Newsletter.

Ms. Hubbell is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and also serves as an Attorney Mediator for the Santa Clara County Superior Court.

Karen is married and is the mother of two daughters. When not attending her daughters' extra-curricular activities, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and doing home improvement projects.
